Today’s Sky
The canvas was a true summer-blue -
nature’s heavenly creation.
The artist had only a palette of white,
which might cause speculation.
The brushes took that virgin white
and worked a true sensation
of puffs and pillows, lines and swirls,
so I looked with appreciation.
Light and airy on a summer’s day -
touched by the hand of God;
Purest white on heaven’s blue
and I felt my head do a nod.
His Universe - so perfect!
I stood and looked with awe.
Nothing could be more perfect
than His artwork that I saw.
